Rebuilding Home Songtext
Rebuilding Home
And it blew up in my face just like a bomb,
I can't stay calm, I miss my dad I miss my mom.
I miss my 45's and all my friends are gone,
I can't go visiting the streets I grew up on.
And it still doesn't feel like home,
and I'm all alone, all alone , all alone.
now i'm sitting alone with no way home
and it's a two day drive from here.
no gas in my car, can't get far and
no one to wipe my tears.
And I knew it from the start,
this was going to be very hard,
and I know and will always know,
this is exactly where I wanted to go.
And it still doesn't feel like home,
and I'm all alone, all alone , all alone.
now i'm sitting alone with no way home
and it's a two day drive from here.
no gas in my car, can't get far and
no one to wipe my tears.
So now I'm rebuilding my home, stone by stone by stone.
