Ghost Reprise

Though I gaze into the vast nothingness time and time again
I stand at its edge
Never staring long enough to spiral into the madness it holds
I pick up pieces of my scattered remains as I cross them

Searching for completion amongst the living
What lies beyond the open door that cannot be closed
Haunts me forever
But I am only a ghost
