Marooned Songtext

Pain is no foreign creature to me. Raised with it intertwined between the fibers of my being. At no point have I begun to feel as you do. My heart aches in different ways; as your hand never fit mine. Others would mourn the connection they lost, but I bask in the glory of being awaken. Your heart didn't beat to the rhythm of mine. Looking back I can't say I wish you well. I hope to not know you as you don't know me. Hopefully before you die; you'll see what you have done. And I won't stand by and watch you come crashing back into my life. The miles between us perfect the barrier. My home is where you are not.
