so i'll put all my wishes in this perfected vision

closing my eyes has never been so easy

so used to lying awake with a broken faith

i can fall asleep like no one's business

you're clutching the covers and its getting you nowhere



if that's why i can't say your name

picturing a photograph that won't exist

my hands are torn - your hands on his hips

completely aware that i'm breaking the boundaries

betraying everything we hoped for and everything we know



there's times where we all
