Uncle Jolly Songtext

Uncle Jolly he came strollin down the sidewalk
A tiny whight silk suit on and a certain way of steppin out
he had a bright green yo yo which he dangled from his fingers
Flicked it quickly one time like this and he turned around to shout he said

Keep allright rockin to like this
keep allright rockin to like that
keep allright rockin to like this
keep allright rockin to it just like that

The parrot on his shoulder was a s orange as the sunset and his shades were castin moonbeams on everyone he saw
In his pockets he had peso's which he scattered to the children who whirled and twirled around him and came dancin to his call

Keep allright rockin to like this
keep allright rockin to like that
keep allright rockin to like this
keep allright rockin to it just like that

Uncle jolly who could you be your a cosmic mystery
You dress so funky and you dance so free
would you could you would give me some of what you got I said what you got for me

The secret is Uncle Jolly takes a hike up to the top of a mountain
and he lights a little fire up there at some point every day
He simply asks for guidance and the courage to be faithful
and then he's up and dancin' and he sings along the way

Keep allright rockin to like this
keep allright rockin to like that
keep allright rockin to like this
keep allright rockin to it just like that
