A dream within a dream

Closing my tired eyes, i let myself fall
with all my senses awak, i follow this call
refreshed in the air sweet and clear, my senses soar
filled with memories, with joy and pain alike


From afar I can see the sun's early light.
scents of rock and earth tell me this is my life
My past is before me ans I'm now part of the life
that I carried in my heart through eternity


I cross over to my former shape, drawn back to my roots
sweet impressions of deepest green welcome me home
I have returned after long and dour yeas
my eyes are crying joyful tears
