Like a rag doll I was thrown to the ground
I had served my purpose as a toy
i had helped them become what was once in me
like a sock i was hastily peeled off
i had been a nice person
i had shown them its better to be yourself
like a lightbulb i had burnt out
i had lit their heads with lots of fun
i had kept giving them bright ideas
like a straw i was tossed into the can
i had been the reciever, i had been the giver
like a pen i had ran out of ink
i had written out word for word what was in their heads
i had been used because they couldnt find any lead
to them i was just another inadament object
