In Front Of Me

Sometimes when I look in the mirror
I don't recognize the face I see
I'm pulled in too many directions
And I don't see the life passing right in from me

I've made so many mistakes that I can't count them
Told so many lies
But for all the things I've done
The only regrets I have is that I have them

Sometimes when I look for the sunrise
I don't understand why I can't see
I've become blind by repetition (repetition)
And I can't see the sun rising right in front of me

I've looked to find that sun but I don't see it
Looked a thousand times
But all the times I tried
I never realized that it was right in front of me

And now that light is fading
I look in that mirror once again
I see the withered man that I've become
And the one I never saw passed right in front of me

I've told too many lies

I've never realized you were right in front of me
