Records And Tea Songtext

I live in one room
With a good view of a wall and wander in the hall
I sit on my bed and cut my fingernails
I try on a shirt I bought at a jumble sail

Here we go round again
Here we go down the drain
records and tea are all life means to me

My brain goes at 45 my body at 33
I just cannot work out why
'cause all I drink is tea
I live in one room with a good view of a wall and now and again
I'll wander in the hall

I set my clock to my watch
I'm not sure which is right
It doesn't matter anyway
I live here day and night

I take all my cloths along to the laundromat
Watch them go round and round and think my life's just like that
I live in one room with a good view of a wall
But really that's not such a bad view after all

Here we go round again
Here we go down the drain
Records and tea are all life means to me
