The Simpsons Songtext
Well a few years ago it was nice, every Sunday night
Me and the girl I loved would cook some food together
Then we'd walk down the street to meet our friends and eat
They were the only people we knew who had cable TV
Then we would eat and we'd watch The Simpsons
Or play board games or watch a movie; yeah, it lasted for a year
And we all knew that we had a place to go when we were home
It was nice to come home from the road and have a place to go
Then somethin' went wrong with my love and things just fell apart
But I was just the first of a dozen broken hearts
And now that house is broken along with many other things
And I don't hang out with many of them anymore
Because it just doesn't feel the same
And I don't watch The Simpsons anymore
No, I don't watch The Simpsons anymore
