White As Snow Songtext

Do you see the way
That bullet spreads the air out of its way?
So it can come right into me
It creeps in looking for its home
Where I keep its own kind

He's found a pretty place
To warm himself and decorate
She's found a home to keep her cares
He lights a fire
She's grateful for the warmth
Until the house burns down

Do you see why I cry
When the life is spilling out
The pores of all those shameful minds
Do you see why I can't take the way they take her
So close to the flame it burns the skin
When I have a place where she can live
And they don't care about anything but this
And it's sick

The temple on the hill
Is the house he found in the dark that night
And so had many before him
No one's allowed by morals anyway
They just push and shove and touch to get in

He looks into her eyes
They're as white as snow and he doesn't know
They're cold and that he isn't inside
My heart and mind is needing for a path
From my lips to hers down into her heart

Do you see why I cry
When the life is spilling out
The pores of all those shameful minds
Do you see why I can't take the way they take her
So close to the flame it burns the skin
When I have a place where she can live
And they don't care about anything but this
And it's sick

And they don't care about anything but this
And all I want is to be there to clean up this mess
And all I want is to lie there too
