One Light Day Songtext
I thought of the buildings of this house
it staged all my funnily shaped toys
and my doubtful joys
I thought of the city of the rust
it's been there for ages and it stilll looks like gold
only in the negative
I thought of the millions of the maze of their interactive lives and of the horns
that replace their cries
I thought of the city of its pest(past)
it's been there for ages and it smells like warm
food in the negative
I'm away---ONE LIGHT DAY
it seems like all of my life's on the reverse
forgot those i cared for
all those who could not have cared less
and now i'm suddenly awake
and i'm in front of the most dark among my days
I'll fly home--and there will be disaster where i'll lay
(dedicated to massista)
it staged all my funnily shaped toys
and my doubtful joys
I thought of the city of the rust
it's been there for ages and it stilll looks like gold
only in the negative
I thought of the millions of the maze of their interactive lives and of the horns
that replace their cries
I thought of the city of its pest(past)
it's been there for ages and it smells like warm
food in the negative
I'm away---ONE LIGHT DAY
it seems like all of my life's on the reverse

all those who could not have cared less
