So The Blood

so the blood
had run into my eye
and for awhile
i couldn't see at all
still i felt so surely cradled
from all sides
of the limbs
where used to break my fall
and soon enough
i regain my sight
in turn it took my brain
and from inside
i saw how close i was to life
and far i was from death
