I've been waiting for you
for so long love can't be true
for so long I can't have you
And now that I have found you
my heart beats like a thousand drums
and it sings a pretty song

But you are so far away
that it stings to call your name
and I havent been the same
But my eyes are locked on you
I thought fairy tales don't come true
the way you walked in is like you flew

And your getting closer
and I can't handle that

And if I tried talk to you
I wouldnt know the first thing to say
but seeing you just makes my day
And in my dreams you talked to me
I told you my poem about the sea
and you were so into me

I saw you looking at me
I'll talk to you if I can
we'll walk away holding hands
But that can not happen today
I wouldn't know what to say
Across the classrooms far away
