Who You Love Songtext
WHO YOU LOVE
Yesterday it hit me like a train
How many years did I ignore?
Wrote poetry of love in vain
My boat had barely left the shore
Now I know you and I know me
And I don't care what they think
I awoke from a walking dream
Now my boat will never sink
Why do they lie to us?
Why are we born with such unflinching trust?
Hating us is so unjust
If you love someone you must love them
So love who you love
There's no choice when it's natural
So love who you love
Make the truth actual
They're just afraid of something that God made
His children
Yesterday I wondered to myself
How could they lie to us for so long?
Forcing us to put or love lives on the shelf
What feels right is really wrong
Now I know me and I know you
Why would we choose the abuse?
Soon they'll awake and believe the truth
And it will set so many free
Why do they fight with us?
We are all born with a unique lust
Hating us is so unjust
If you love someone then you must love them
