in a dream state between life and death
she's asking where is she
I answer in a breath
a Freudian slip
and French maladresse
mind over matter
body over law
in a hostile state
somewhere back in time
I'm reading her mind
she's seeing my future
a fortune foreseen
there's nothing to see

matter over me
it's obvious where to
draw lines and distinctions
what's not so easy
is when to make there decisions
