Lemon Soda Songtext
These jumbled memories,
I hope I won't lose them as I grow older.
Nostalgia crushes me like a giant tidal wave of lemon soda.
Bittersweet memories, painful in a pleasant sort of way.
I miss my dog, I miss my friends,
I miss anything that I no longer possess.
And now my future is punching me in the nose,
but I'm not bleeding yet...
I hope it stops before it, I hope it stops before it breaks...
Running it all together like coleslaw
on a summer day, but I can still see the pieces
of shredded cabbage & mayonnaise.
And I hope that right now
I'm the same person that I'll ever be and I hope
that the little kid inside me never decides to pack up and leave.
