It was my mistake expecting you to be for me what I have yet to become for myself
And from this day forward I promise never to compromise my worth for your attention
I promise to be faithful to my morals and guard my standards at all costs
I promise to love all of me even my imperfections
Because it all plays a part in the evolution of the greatest version of me
