I Don't Care Songtext
We paced around the apartment and fought off the urge to destroy it, trading fire for the TV. We lost our direction when nothing was working for us; now I’m the enemy. Egos, bruised and aching, thrown into the mess we made when boredom took over ambition. Bitter words and pride, like cancer, won’t subside and I know that I won’t be back.
So if I’m going nowhere it’ll be alright ‘cause I don’t care.
We’ve got the same damn sickness; fevers and words we’ve twisted gave proof to almost anything. Now that I look back and review every fact, I was wrong and you were everything.
So if there’s no tomorrow it’ll be alright ‘cause I don’t care.
I don’t care.
